A special place

for exciting events

Theater, concerts & other markets at the Ronneburg

While we have many "historical" events, the Ronneburg also offers a forum for contemporary events - theater, exhibitions, concerts and also exciting markets on other topics. Experience the Ronneburg as a trade fair and conference venue, as a theater setting and as a forum for special art and cultural events.

Ronneburg Theater Summer

Ronneburg cloth market
Autumn
‍In the fall, the Ronneburg Castle Museum hosts the "Cloth Market and More" event, inviting visitors to browse, discover and stroll. The exhibitors display a wide range of goods from cloth and fabrics to finished products made of cotton, linen and hemp. Whether imaginative upcycling and fair trade fashion, plant-dyed wool, felt goods, bags, shoes, patchwork and much more - you can simply say - craftsmanship meets attention to detail.

Among other things, old techniques from the Orient such as Occhi, macramé and sling binding are also shown or simply watch how with the help of a so-called "assisted spindle" from a colorful ball of wool, gradually a thread is created. If you are still looking for ideas or material for your own textile project, you will certainly find what you are looking for here. The market hours are linked to the opening hours of the museum. Please refer to the current annual program or the calendar of events for the date.
Hunting, nature and forest
Autumn
Also in the fall, another market format will take place with us. Our "hunter's flea market" is now growing up and due to the many positive feedbacks and ideas from our visitors, friends and employees we now present "Hunting, Nature & Forestry".

We would like to establish a forum here that is aimed at the many people who care for, manage or simply enjoy the forests and the surrounding landscape.

Of course there will again be a large "hunter's flea market", commercial exhibitors offering their services and goods, insights into the history of hunting and forestry, as well as music, food and drinks from the region. Again, the market hours are linked to the opening hours of the museum.
