Leaning against the historic walls of the castle, the falconry offers you during the season, in addition to the flight demonstrations, all kinds of interesting information about the way of life of birds of prey and owls, hunting for prey and nature conservation. Many different birds can be seen in the aviaries.
Visitors to the falconry can experience free-flying birds of prey at close range. For school classes and kindergartens, our falconer creates an age-appropriate educational lecture and of course our hand-raised eagle owl Nelly is not missing here, who is happy to be petted by small, but also large visitors.
An important part of our work is the maintenance of a sanctuary with care and reintroduction of birds of prey and owls. On request we offer lectures about ornithology and hunting, for schools, groups and clubs from November. We will visit you at your premises and show you our birds of prey up close.
